I still haven't heard first hand of invites for the Star Wars: The Old Republic Beta test, so we can assume it's still in some form of internal alpha development.

In the mean time, I suggest you sign up for the Lego Universe beta. I am a huge fan of the Lego: Star Wars series of console games. If you haven't played them yet, do yourself a favor and pick up a used copy from Gamestop for $5.
